Home Much Does PRP Therapy Cost?
- No two patients are alike, and no two treatment plans are identical.
- The cost of a PRP treatment varies based on the severity and location of your injury. A single injection costs approximately $1,250 - $1,499.
- More complex regimens such as PRP-Plus, BMC, AMC and , procedures that involve multiple injections or spine disc injections, may cost between $5,000 and $8,000. Multiple injections may be recommended pending the extent of injury and treatment response.
Financing is available
- AVRSPI does not want you to suffer because this therapy is not covered by insurance. While insurance does not cover the cost of regenerative treatments, financing is available through Care Credit with 12 months interest free through Care Credit.

Is PRP, PRP-Plus, BMC, AMC Therapy Covered by Medical Insurance?
- At this time, PRP and BMC injections are not covered by medical insurance. All PRP Therapy Injection procedures are still considered investigational and experimental by insurance carriers. As long as that is the case, insurance companies are not required to pay for them, and it is unlikely that they will change their policies in the near future.
- However, providers and clinical researchers are experiencing impressive results and high success rates using Regenerative Medicine.
- When FDA-approved investigation and clinical trials have amassed sufficient information, insurance companies will likely cover FDA-approved therapies.
- FDA approval for the procedures will hopeful be a reality soon so that they will be more widely available and covered treatments by insurance carriers.
